On a day when many Christians around the world were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Marva Providence was creating a spiritual healing Providence, who is based in Canada, had the audience clamouring for more, as her personal testimony, told in song, saw her whispering Jesus' name ("Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me".) Soul-searching performance She sang, danced and taught her audience how to surrender their hearts to God in total worship. She ministered in song Hear My Cry, (Oh Lord), Sing Praises and Pressing On, among others, during her soul-searching performance. "I'm not only here to entertain, but also to minister," Providence said. Earlier, gospel reggae artiste Ryan Mark, during a high-tempo set, Marvin Fishley complemented the bill well with his singing prowess. He quickly got the audience into his performance, first with the spiritual selection Four Days Late. He also told the patrons to Run Him Away, making reference to the devil, and showed his devotion to the Almighty with I Must Have The Saviour With Me prior to ending his stint with a gospel medley. Renowned international gospel singer Claude Davis was the penultimate performer. He delivered selections such as Final Call, No More Night, Every Time You See Me Clapping My Hands, and from his new album coming out in August, Do You Know My Jesus. |
